“Believe you can and your halfway there”
Theodore Roosevelt
I believe strongly that people know what they want in life and have the ability to reach their goals. My approach to therapy is very cognitive and behavioral. However, I also believe that a therapist’s role is to be supportive and a giver of hope. I am very direct in therapy, but balance that with a caring and humorize approach to life and issues. I personally have struggled with difficulties in my life, and I am aware of the courage and strength needed to overcome these difficulties. I love to help people figure out their own needs and desires and I want to celebrate their big and small achievements with them. My biggest sense of achievement comes when a person has reached their goals and no longer needs my assistance.
