“The goal is not to be better than the other man, but your previous self.”
Dalai Lama
I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and my Grad School degree in Mental Health Counseling at Wilmington University. I spent the last nine years at another agency where I gained counseling experience in higher level of care services, earned my licensure, and worked as an Outpatient Therapist. I began at Mental Edge Counseling in September of 2021. I work with all ages, specialize in Autism Spectrum Disorder, and love working with the LBGTQIA+ community. My view as counselor is to be a guide to help others explore and decide what works best for them. Each individual is unique and has different needs and wants for their life. I believe in tailoring each person’s session around the client’s needs for counseling. I rely on Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) to help build a trusting relationship and help client’s feel understood. Ultimately helping clients work toward their goals and achieving better mental health.
